A Public Inquiry will open on Monday 15 May 2023 at St Paul’s Centre in respect of the proposed plans to regenerate the Southwest St Helier Waterfront.

The Outline Planning Application will be reviewed by an independent Planning Inspector.

If outline planning approval is secured, JDC will prepare and submit detailed applications for each phase. There will be further extensive public engagement as part of the detailed design process to ensure that we are meeting the needs of the community. These detailed applications will provide the information and logistics on replacement facilities and these proposals will be developed in line with GoJ / Jersey Sport requirements.

A series of public consultations took place before and after the former Environment Minister adopted the Southwest St Helier Planning Framework.

An Outline Planning Application was submitted in December 2021. Continual discussions took place during 2022 with the Planning Department and Statutory Consultees. In response to feedback, adjustments were made to the Application forming an Addendum.

You can view and download the exhibition boards shown at the drop-in event advertised above here.
